We are BEYOND excited to be hosting the Alabama Youth Theatre Experience Event.

Event will be held on Saturday May 20th 2023

ALL Youth Theatre groups and programs are welcome to participate. 

Company Registration is $100

Event Entry is $10 per child, per event.

To register your organization simply send an email to artaliveonoenta@gmail.com letting us know your intention to attend and either Venmo your $100 company registration to @Veranda-Wells or mail check made out Veranda Wells to 246 McDowell Circle Boaz, Al 35957. Then download the student registration form and fill out one form per student. Scan and email those forms to artaliveoneonta@gmail.com no later the April 29th. Per student fees can either be sent via Venmo or paid by check (made out to Veranda Wells) the day of the festival. 

Students can compete in the following categories:

• Solo Musical Theater (Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced Divisions)
• Duet Musical Theater (Division 1 {3rd-7th grade} and Division 2 {8th-12th grade})
  
• Group Musical Theater (3 or more with a 6 minute time limit)
• Monologue (Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced Divisions)
• Duologues (all divisions compete in one category)

Solo pieces are to be no longer than 90 seconds and duet pieces should be no longer than 2 minutes. Your time starts when you start singing. 

The Competition is designed to judge talent - props, costumes and stage make up are not allowed.

Students will also have the opportunity to participate in several different performance arts workshops.

Company Registration can be sent via check (made out to Veranda Wells) sent to 246 McDowell Circle Boaz, Al 35957 or Venmo @Veranda-Wells. Company Registration is due no later than May 1st.

Please send in student registration forms as soon as possible. Forms will not be accepted after April 29th. All music cuts should be emailed to artaliveoneonta@gmail.com NO LATER THAN April 29th. 

Parent bracelets are $10 and will be required to enter events. These can be purchased with you registration or at the door.
